About the Founder
Chris Schuering is the founder of Visio Law and has been a licensed attorney since 1996. He has spent decades advising clients on mergers and acquisitions and business transactions, representing buyers, sellers, and investors throughout the full lifecycle of a deal—from initial structuring through closing. His experience spans transactions involving lower middle market companies, privately held businesses, independent sponsors, and private equity firms, as well as deals with real estate components. He began his career at a large international law firm in Chicago before eventually founding Visio Law. Chris provides practical, execution-oriented counsel designed to help clients move forward with clarity and confidence.

Most of my work involves mergers and acquisitions, capital formation, and ongoing corporate matters for founders, independent sponsors, and business owners. These matters are rarely straightforward, and the value I provide is in helping clients see the structure of a deal clearly and move it forward efficiently. I’ve been practicing law since 1996, and I’ve learned that the most effective legal counsel is practical. Clients don’t need commentary—they need a clear path through complexity and a way to get the deal done. My goal is simple: provide clear, focused guidance that helps clients make decisions and execute with confidence.
